The Orbital Modular ESD chair is the only ergonomic support system on the market for electrostatic discharge sensitive environments. The modular design allows you to custom build the chair to suit your work environment. The height is adjustable to a near standing position. Ideal for electronics manufacturing, assembly and inspection. ESD rated arm rests, ESD casters, ESD vinyl and a fully bonded structure.

Features

Seat - Height, Setback and Tilt

Our seat incorporates a unique tilt and slide system that can be adjusted to achieve an optimal (posture perfect) curvature of the spine. This neutral spine position relieves the tension of the back muscles allowing the neck and shoulder muscles to also relax. Height adjustment is achieved by manually re-positioning the pin.

The optional hands free hydraulic adjustment is also available.

Chest Support

The chest support is height adjustable and was made as thin as possible to minimize setback from the patient.

Height adjustments are made by backing off the knob at the front of the pad, sliding up or down and tightening the knob back into the detent, at the desired height. An upholstered protective cover is also supplied.

4 Wheeled Base

The low center of gravity 4 wheeled base is made using 1/2 steel plate, which adds weight for stability.

Foot pegs give an alternative location for foot placement.

This base comes complete with high quality Sheppard urethane casters.

Armrests

Independently adjustable armrests . Arm rests glide effortlessly on needle bearings. Leather covered arm pads support your arms, taking the pressure off of the shoulders, neck and back.

Double-Density Foam Seat

The double-density foam seat is a flatter design than the saddle seat. This design incorporates a semi-waterfall front edge and a raised center portion to keep you firmly and ergonomically seated.
